Sue qualified at Glasgow Vet School in 1985. She worked in Derby in mixed practice for 9 months then she joined Ryder-Davies as the 5th Vet, and has been with the practice ever since apart from a year in Framlingham.

She enjoys interacting with her patients and their owners, many call her ‘Aunty Sue’! She is still working on their old farmhouse which now has better insulation and is structurally sound.

The children have grown, flown and she now has a small grandson who she has the privilege of spending a lot of time with. She lives with 2 cats, 4 fat pet sheep and a variety of poultry. She has recently started restoring an 1887 gypsy wagon and she is still knitting up her (increasing) wool mountain.
