Matthew joined the practice as Finance and Payroll Manager in 2017. He is AAT qualified with many years’ experience of working in both practice and industry.

He has a good head for numbers and enjoys the challenge of financial reporting, statutory accounting, purchase ledger and maintaining the company payroll.

Outside of work he is a prominent ecologist particularly known for his extensive work with moths and birds. He is one of the country’s leading experts on months and frequently contributes to biological recording schemes and writes articles for journals.

He is passionate about photography and is often out with the camera capturing the wildlife and landscapes of the Suffolk coast. Gardening is another keen pastime and he has a particular interest in growing Hostas and Cacti.
